Business Bridge student Natalie Muldoon was recently awarded the National Student Employee Of the Year Award by the National Association of Student Employment Services (NASES). Natalie was given the award for her work with Regent Maritime Hotel, Bootle Liverpool, who she's been working with as part of several Business Bridge projects. Roslyn Jones, Managing Director of the Regent Maritime Hotel said “I was delighted to hear that Natalie had won this award, she thoroughly deserves it."

Natalie is working with the Regent Maritime Hotel while studying in Liverpool John Moore's University towards her degree in Media & Cultural Studies.

The award was presented to Natalie by Bill Rammell, Minister of State for Lifelong Learning, Further and Higher Education who said; "It is a fantastic achievement for Natalie and reinforces the view that students working part time during term can enhance employability prospects beyond graduation."

Andy Byrne the Business Bridge Unit Coordinator said “I am delighted for Natalie, Regent Maritime Hotel and Business Bridge that she has won SEOTY and I’m sure her achievements will add to her CV greatly when she is applying for jobs after completing her studies and will stand her in good stead for her future career.”

The NASES SEOTY awards are held every year and aim to promote students gaining work experience while studying. Lesley Boyle, Chair of NASES, said “It was clear from her nomination form that Natalie had made a tremendous contribution to this organisation, that she achieved so much whilst studying a full time degree should be commended, Natalie is an inspiration to all students, she certainly deserves this award.”

This isn't the first time Natalie has been commended for her work with Business Bridge. We recently celebrated 10 Years of helping students and companies by awarding outstanding students, Natalie Muldoon was one of the students awarded a prize. See here for more information
