Creating the perfect fit

We ensure you are selecting the right person through our proven step-by-step approach, ensuring that your business needs are understood and your selection criteria are always met.

Business Bridge is a non-profit organisation you only have to pay the student, we do not charge fees of any kind. We do require that the student is paid in accordance with UK minimum wage legislation (We set a guideline of £35 - £40 per day (for a 7-hour day), which companies pay direct to the student).

Step 1 The Introduction	An informal meeting takes place with an Employer Liason Officer who will introduce Business Bridge and discuss your needs.

Step 2 The Brief	A job description and person specification is created in the form of a project brief for you to review and approve.

Step 3 The Search	The team will advertise the post and find a match between your project and an appropriate student. A student Liason Officer will contact you with details of interested students and forward CV's of suitable candidates.

Step 4 The Candidate	An informal interview will take place between you and the student(s) to disscuss the project in more detail. An action plan is then completed between you and the student before they can start work on the project.

Step 5 The Results	Once a month you will be contacted to review progress. At the end of the project an Employer Liaison Officer will visit you to evaluate the work.
