Improve your employability

Do you want to increase your employability when you graduate? Every year more and more students are graduating from UK Universities. This is adding to an already overcrowded graduate job market. Students upon graduating need to make themselves stand out from the crowd if they are to be successful.

Employers in turn are also looking for graduates with something more than academic qualifications alone.

Business Bridge, in collaboration with GIEU (Graduates Into Employment Unit), are aiming to bridge this gap with a group of employability targeted training courses. The workshop dates are detailed below and focus on Business Awareness and I.T. The courses are being run across all four institutions - for more information please contact the Student Unit of your institution. Students are welcome to attend any of the sessions at any institution.

I.T. Training

At University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University, we are offering a range of introductory level courses in a number of software packages, designed to help you add valuable skills to your CV.

Please note that, in each instance, these consist of a series of 2 or 3 half day sessions and you need to ensure you can attend on all the dates specified for your course. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Spaces on these courses are limited to 10 per subject. Booking is on a strictly first come, first served basis so contact your Careers Service NOW to avoid disappointment!
